Responsibilities:

 Take over full responsibility for the quality of development projects
 Collaborate closely with the product and design team to translate requirements into technical designs
 Develop, test and deploy code that is part of a product used by millions of people every month
 Maintain a high quality standard for the end user experience from mobile to desktop
 Quickly debug and analyze issues that affect the usability and performance of our website platforms
 Deliver incremental results live on our site on a weekly basis with the support of an agile team
 In collaboration with the CTO, set the vision for the technology and architecture to stay current
What you bring to the table:
 A Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related subject
 3-5 years of experience delivering tools on tight schedules in a company known for best-in-class
products
 Proven experience working in a multi-national environment with agile methodologies
 Positive, go-to attitude, and the ability to quickly learn new technologies
 Strong drive to find, analyze and solve complex software problems
 Fundamental knowledge of web technologies including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript 6, AJAX and PHP
 Always up to date with the latest developments in web standards and trends
 Expert in client-side technologies like jQuery, jQuery UI, Bootstrap and Responsive Design
 Curiosity for the evolution of cloud database technologies like Elastic Search
 Deep Understanding of MVC design patterns and web service APIs
 Practical QA experience using PHPUnit and other testing
 Understanding of Source Control tools and related practices like Git
 Familiarity with command line interfaces, Amazon Web Service and Docker
