Trade Marketing Manager

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 

Key Roles and Responsibility

· Develops and submits the annual plan of promotional activities by brand, customer, period and price, in cooperation with the sales department and on the basis of analyses and market evaluations, as well as analyses of historical trends and indications provided by the manager, in compliance with marketing policies defined by the company

· Defines and submits merchandising policies and ensures its implementation through management and control of the relevant external structure

- Segment the channel, and identify key-customers

- Identify unique channel growth drivers

- Identify right portfolio mix

- Develop long term direction for channel to ensure continually competitive advantage

· Ensures implementation of the trade marketing plan, performing the relevant checks and corrective actions in case of deviations and on the basis of market evolutions

- Ensure standards are set based on consumer and shopper insights

- Monitor implementation, and course direct when needed

- Ensure promotion strategies in line with channel knowledge

- Ensure merchandising and POSM layouts in line with channel knowledge

- Drive In store share of space and voice

· Ensures updated and full knowledge of the market, from both the supply and the demand point of view through ongoing monitoring of trends and evolutions

· Essential

- Good business acumen and business insight

- Good evaluation and analytical skills

- Excellent in communication and decision making skills

- Excellent in implementing operational trade activities by understanding brand strategies and sales drivers

- Demonstrate the ability to translate strategy into action

- A proven track record of performance

- A clear category management concept

· Desirable

- Good commercial and brand knowledge

- Fluent in English and Vietnamese language

- Excellent in negotiation skills and tend to work on win-win solution

- Work under high pressure
