Core Duties & Responsibilities:
Assigned products:
Prepare and develop marketing objectives, strategies, advertising and promotion, which bases on Corporate Branding foundation, and ensure their execution for the assigned products.
Develop annual marketing plans. Co-ordinate with field force for successful implementation .
Achieve sales, margin and market share annual goals for the assigned products.
Develop product positioning.
Allocate, strictly control promotion resources in line with product positioning and schedule for marketing and advertising activities according to the importance of product in organization’s overall marketing strategy for product line.
Evaluate effectiveness of promotion efforts through strictly follow up the execution of promotional programs .
Develop methods and cooperate with related partners (in-house or outsource) to do market surveys on promotional programs to determine customer attitude, perception, and acceptance.
Develop product training to field force on an ongoing basis.
Keep Field Force updated on product knowledge and competitor information.
Review complaints and provide solutions relating to assigned products.
Analyze and report market intelligence in a correct and timely manner.
Lead multi-product projects/ big campaigns.
New products :
Look for opportunity to develop business by launching new products and penetrate/ create new market segment.
Evaluate the practicality and potential of new products and market development.
Demand:
Manage annual sales volume and profit forecasts, pricing.
Forecast product demand in market, identify potential supply issues, and develop contingency plans.
Customer:
Analyzes and defines target customers and market requirements and trends.
Develops and maintains closed contact with customers, distributor, field force and other channels for understanding and satisfying their needs.
People Management :
Support employees in implementing of their growth plans. Develop and maintain succession plan and address future staffing issues in a proactive manner.
Manage team’s development throughout the path to achieve goals.Ensure all business activities comply with the WHO code, Viet Nam code, relevant Acts, legal demands, Abbott code of conduct and ethical standards.
Special projects as directed by Division Manager/ GM.
BACKGROUND REQUIREMENTS
Education:
Degree in Science/Pharmacy/Medical related field or appropriate tertiary qualification
MBA qualification
Experience: At least 5 years experience
Knowledge/ Skills:
Sound understanding or qualifications in marketing related principles.
Strong sales track record.
Comprehensive industry knowledge
Good in English.
Good knowledge of computer based programs including spreadsheets and graphics.
