IT Application Analyst

Main Responsibility
1. Report regularly against project plan to ensure visibility of project progress to ensure project completion in time and on budget.
2. Translate business requirements to local business applications.
3. Provide daily IT operation support ensuring smooth running and availability of business application:
a. Provide technical support to local business applications.
b. Liaise with ITS counterpart for core application supports.
4. Develop, implement and maintain approved local applications and reports according to changing business needs.
5. Adhere to SDLC process.
6. Provide requested ad hoc services on application.
7. Provide training and advice of core/local applications to users.
8. Provide supports to business users and Customer Facing IT Team
9. Liaise with third party software/hardware services providers as an extension of software development/support resources
Additional Responsibilities for Senior Analyst
1. Work with Project Manager to coordinate core and local application deployments.
2. Coach and guide junior IT staff.
3. Track priority service related incidents.
4. Ensure root cause analysis and fault resolution is coordinated avoiding recurrence of issues.
Requirement:
• Educational Qualifications: Degree in Information Services (or equivalent)
• Expected years of experience (Minimum):
• 3-5 years IS and business experience, preferably in logistics industry (Senior Analyst)
• 3 years IS and business experience, preferably in logistics industry (Analyst)
• 3 years experience with Business or Systems Analysis responsibilities
Proficient, both • English written and spoken
