Job Title: Portfolio & Launch Manager
GJFA Band:             5
Department: Portfolio & Launch
Reports to (Function): Country Head (Regional Portfolio & Launch Head)

Job Purpose (State in one sentence the overall objective of the job)
The manager shall manage our portfolio, develop and execute portfolio strategy as well as manage the pre-launch and launch of process of new products to drive launch performance.
 
Major Accountabilities (Describe the main results of the job to be achieved )
Portfolio management
  • Building and maintaining the portfolio for the company in line with business strategy based on market attractiveness, patents and other factors with marketing, regulatory team, CoL of HQ and other relevant stakeholders.
  • Communication with HQ to identify the products for registration by collecting the data on product sources, commercial terms like supply conditions, timing, market potentials and etc.
  • Agreeing and following up submission plan timelines with HQ and facilitate the timely development of product and etc.
  • Maintaining and updating the portfolio database containing market size and regulatory information at least annual basis.
  • Supporting the development and maintenance of the global 5 yr. strategy plan.
New product launch management (till -6months at launch)
  • Coordination for forecast planning including marketing & sales preparedness.
  • Coordination cross-functions for PLC, system set up, order placement.
  • Challenging and steering go to market models in Vietnam specific landscape.
  • Pricing model at time of launch.
  • Managing a smooth handover of new product launch to marketing department at -6months at launch.
  • Monitoring and driving launch performance.

Ideal Background (State the minimum and desirable education and experience level)
  1. Education: University degree in Pharmacy
  2. Languages: Fluent in Vietnamese and English
  3. Experience: > 5 years in Pharma industry; MNC experience preferred; Matrix organisation; Sales & Marketing exposure preferred; Pharma background highly preferred
