COMPLIANCE OFFICER
Mission :
The Compliance officer participates and supports the development and implementation of the corporate compliance program to prevent illegal, unethical or improper conducts. The Compliance officer assists the Compliance Director in implementing internal controls, performing continuous monitoring and testing, and maintaining databases of all compliance activities. The Compliance officer acts as staff to the Compliance Committee by reporting results of the compliance and ethics efforts of the company and providing guidance for the Committee and Board Management team.
Main responsibilities:
1. Develops, initiates policies and procedures for the general operations of the compliance program and its related activities.
2. Manages daily operations of the compliance program.
3. Identifies potential areas of compliance vulnerability and risks or non-conformity issues, develops and implements corrective action plans and provides guidance.
4. Monitors the performance of the compliance program and related activities, taking appropriate steps to improve its effectiveness.
5. Acts as an independent review as well as collaborates with other departments (eg. Finance, HR departments, …) to ensure that compliance issues and concerns are being appropriately evaluated, investigated and resolved.
6. Provides reports on a regular basis and keeps the Compliance Committee and Board management informed of the operations and progress of compliance efforts.
7. Assisting Heads Department and Managers with communications to their teams on Ethical and Compliance matters to change behaviors at the individual and group/team.
8. Works with Training department to develop an effective compliance training program, including introductory training for new employees and ongoing training for all staff.
9. Acts as relays with Pharma Group and Global colleagues on Compliance topics.
10. Keep up to date on regulatory developments as well as evolving best practices in compliance control.
11. Lead on Compliance related projects
12. Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
BS/BA degree is required.
Legal background would be an advantage.
Experiences:
Minimum of 3 years in pharmaceutical operations.
Qualifications:
Excellence in Vietnamese and fluency in the English languages.
Strong knowledge of rules, regulations, and industry guidance that impact compliance-related
activities
Ethical, with a strong understanding of compliance risks and a good sense for practical solutions
Understand impacts of Ethical and Compliance on the business.
Apply balanced judgments in sensitive areas, difficult issues and in a commercial context.
Proactive, flexible, responsive and resourceful.
Communicate clearly, concisely and effectively
Effective interpersonal, organizational skills and presentation skills.
Demonstrated ability to quickly establish trust and rapport with other personnel.
Technical Competency:
Computer literacy is required, Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, PowerPoint
