Job Descriptions:
1. Job Purpose
Establish, promote and enforce Company’s legal & compliance principles and rules in
Vietnam. Provide legal support for Company Vietnam.
2. Major Accountabilities
Compliance Environment and Practice
• Establish and embed compliance standards and compliance frameworks based on internal policies (e.g., Code of Conduct, AP3 and SOPs) and local law and regulations
• Conduct on-boarding as well as continuous training on compliance standards, business practices and current developments.
• Independently conduct compliance reviews and approvals
• Lead and conduct compliance monitoring and risk self-assessments
• Support investigations of alleged misconduct
• Develop processes to self-monitor the compliance program
• Actively engage in Global Compliance initiatives
• Align with and contribute to initiatives and projects of Company Regional Compliance team. Be an active member of the Regional Compliance Team.
• Actively follow trends in the market and regulatory environment as well as in business practices and advice country management on compliance related aspects
Promote Compliance Standards
• Champion speak-up, transparency and a culture of integrity throughout the organization
• Actively involve country leadership to leverage integrity messages and maintain high level of awareness
• Foster ethical behavior by promoting the inclusion of compliance criteria in management and associates objectives
• Actively engage in industry associations and other compliance related stakeholder groups
• Actively engage in Global Compliance initiatives and be an active member of
Company’s global compliance community
Enforce Compliance Standards
• Conduct compliance risk assessments including third-party due diligence/audits
• Develop processes to self-monitor the compliance program on country level
• Regularly update country leadership and global compliance on the status of the compliance program
• Support investigations of alleged misconduct
• Advise country management in proposing and implementing sanctions resulting from employee’s misconduct
Country Legal Support
• Provide Legal advice to the country leadership and business units on various aspects of Legal & Compliance.
• Lead and support various legal projects or initiatives, especially relating to promotional, competition, corporate, public procurement and commercial laws.
• Assist in the negotiation of various commercial contracts.
• Serve as the companies’ corporate secretary.
• Provide legal support for distributor relationships
• Actively engage in industry associations and other compliance related stakeholder groups.
3. Key Performance Indicators
1. All compliance standards established and aligned with local regulations/standards and company-wide policies
2. Local processes and SOPs covering promotional material/content, interactions with HCPs / patients and grants established and monitored
3. All associates trained on Code of Conduct, AP3 and other relevant policies
4. Internal investigation processes implemented and communicated to all associates
5. Compliance-related risk assessment conducted

General Requirement:
Ideal Background
Education: University Degree in business or law or other relevant subject matter
Languages: Thai, Advanced/fluent in English
Experience:
• 5-7 years legal/compliance independent practice experience;
• MNC legal/compliance/audit experience preferred;
• Healthcare industry experience preferred;
• Ability to work in a complex, high growth, matrix environment dealing with continuous change and occasionally conflicting
