Job Title: Medical Affairs
Job Purpose (State in one sentence the overall objective of the job)
To provide up-to-date brand and disease area medical expertise to support company strategy, generate and communicate scientific data related to therapeutic area of Company Portfolio to internal and external stakeholders, build collaboration with the scientific community; to collaborate with Country, Regional and Global team members in getting the scientific and training materials to support Country strategy
Major Accountabilities (Describe the main results of the job to be achieved )
Participate in gathering clinical insights/needs/feedback from KOLs/customers in country and communicate to internal partners including marketing and Global Development teams.
Annually participate in the development of local medical strategy plan(s), to support product(s) within country; build cross functional tactical plan(s) that are focused on addressing issues of key brands within country.
Collaborate with country marketing colleagues to help develop brand messages aligned with global strategy and good medical practice
Participate in creating, reviewing, and approving promotional and training materials tailored to the needs of the product and according to SP3 and local regulations
Play the role of Medical Governance Lead, ensure all promotional activities/ programs are in line with SP3 and MoH regulations. Develop local SOPs to govern those promotional programs.
Ensure Quality Assurance in Medical Affairs. Set up and roll our processes/ tracking tools to ensure all medical affairs tasks are well tracked and documented, ensure inspection readiness for Medical function.
Lead budget planning and expense tracking process for Medical function.
Develop/provide product and disease presentations/training to internal (i.e. Sales, Marketing) and external (KOLs) customers that is aligned with global/ country commercial/medical product strategies.
Support the launch of new products by collaborating with commercial teams to develop compelling value proposition and local reimbursement strategies.
Build relationships with country level KOLs and participate on cross functional internal teams to develop product advocacy.
Publish manuscripts and abstracts within Regional/ country to raise awareness of company products and key disease areas.
Understand pathways for communication between country and key Global colleagues/product teams.

Adherence to safety and regulatory compliance as per relevant legislation.
Compliance of clinical trials in all phases
Optimal alignment of Sandoz regional medical affairs project execution with the commercialisation / market access needs of the country. Support to generate strategies for fast launch uptake and successful commercialization.
Size and quality of country specific knowledgebase
Quality of contribution in internal and external forums
Ideal Background (State the minimum and desirable education and experience level)
Education: Medical Doctor
Languages: Fluent in Vietnamese and English
Experience:
>5 years of eexperience within a Medical Affairs role, within a Generic or Pharma business.
Strong medical background
Proven experience with local submissions and communication with local authorities.
