Job Purpose  


Lead a team to achieve business target, within agreed budgets


Major Accountabilities


Execute operating rhythm

  • Implement weekly call with the Medical Representative to share feedback on the week.
  • Plan individual call with Medical Representative to organize the plan of visits with customers.
  • Monitor, lead and motivate area organization by effectively synergizing Marketing, Medical, FFE and FF Training team to ensure effective execution of business plan.
  • Ensure the company’s business strategies are well communicated via regular cycle meetings.

Coaching and developing the team to drive for results

  • Drive area (primary care) top-line performance through effective coordination, training and allocation of area field force resources and personnel.
  • Lead the area field force team on all people management issues, including high-level selection, retention, and development processes.
  • Establish field force budget and control expenses within the area.
  • Ensure the development of pre-launch distributor sales plans for all new products in the market.

Report visibility on results

  • Consolidate all Medical Representative reports to provide a weekly update to Senior Management on results.
  • Provide the listing schedule and racking.
  • Provide regular update and information on market and competitive intelligence.

Customer’s management

  • Serve a key role in creating and maintaining key customer relationship within the area.
  •  Support the Medical Representative in building strong relationship with wholesalers.
  • Manage the wholesaler’s relationship to ensure long term partnership.
  • Define the key stakeholders mapping: (specialist doctors, pharmacy chiefs, hospitals management & administration, pharmacists)

-       Understand who they are

-       Identify their level of influence

-       Clarify the decision making process


  • Perform additional tasks/projects as assigned and discussed with direct/functional manager.

Key Performance Indicators


Financial and Business Results:

  • Distributor sales targets
  • Expense budget
  • Overall market share (growth), further focus on MS performance on priority products/molecules/therapeutic areas
  • Budget adherence (e.g. field force training and motivation/incentive programs, etc.)


Ideal Background


University degree minimum




Fluent in Vietnamese and English




·        Experience:  at least 2 years of Pharma sales experiences

·        Prefer 2-3 years of experience in management position within pharmaceutical industry, with middle-small scale sales management and proven and documented track record.
