Job description
Analyze the products’ markets and performance (Group and competitor products) in terms of sales, prescriptions, image, scientific characteristics, marketing and promotional tools, distribution channels, product mix, etc.
Provide head office with information on the specificities of the manager’s market for the purposes of international intelligence on competition.
Prepare and implement the launch/development plan, catalogue/portfolio actions and the promotional plan.
Working closely with related department to ensure these materials are made available as needed
Prepare the local marketing plan by channel in collaboration with the other departments (sales, marketing, medical marketing, logistics, regulatory, promotions, etc.).
Collect all information related to the products, their positioning, cost, worldwide promotional items, etc. from Head Office.
Propose and deploy the marketing and training tools that are required to achieve objectives, if needed by breaking down the targets (networks, doctors, pharmacists, ex-pharmacy channels, consumers, etc.) pursuant to recommendations from Worldwide Marketing and by integrating budgetary and regulatory constraints.
Prepare and regularly monitor sales forecasts for the manager's product ranges (as well as the promotional tools) and put in place all means required to avoid delays, out-of-stocks and obsolete items, and to optimize inventory management, in collaboration with the logistics department.
Ensure sales objectives are achieved in accordance with the budget.
Maintain quality relations with the various services and departments involved in the products, as well as external partners, and answer potential queries from customers.
When participating in conferences and outside events, represent the company in accordance with its values
Present the product ranges and promotional campaigns to the relevant networks (sales, medical sales, training, consultants, etc.).
Collect and analyze comments from the sales networks and answer their queries.
Provide all the promotional tools required to the sales networks (support for visits, product sheets, purchase orders, samples, etc.).
General requirement
Education:
Master’s level (five years of post-secondary education: scientific but demo-cosmetic knowledge or pharmaceutical or medical background is an advantage
Experience:
In marketing and product communication
Sales experience (sales, training) is desirable
OTC experiences is preferable
