Job description


Market and Leadership strategy

  • Main duties include formulation of sales forecast, target, sales plan, strategies & activities, maintaining & increasing customer bases & market share
  • Specify details of strategy for sub-region (customer strategy)
  • Define market opportunities for current products in new markets and at new customers

Product Portfolio Management

  • Provide customer/industry requirements for long term product strategy and new products regarding the specific segment
  • Provide input of customer requirements and expected market impact
  • Support development of strategy for new business (product focus)

Conduct operational budget planning and develop Long Range Plan

  • Break down general sales targets (e.g. account receivables days outstanding, sub region inventory)
  • Define quantities and price targets for the segment
  • Plan and deliver segment cost
  • Contribute to planning of project budget

Forecast and fair share allocation

  • Responsible for providing demand forecast data for the South of Vietnam
  • Responsible for volume allocation to segment customers

Pricing

  • Provide and analyze customer price trends and competition prices

Technical Support Role

  • Handle the customer complaint and assist Technical Lead for trouble shooting and conducting new project scouting and identification of potential new business through innovative products/application development

General requirement

  • Technical and / or commercial University degree or equivalent
  • Experience in the use of technical marketing tools, good understanding of the sales and marketing principles, report writing skills and experience in setting and monitoring budgets
  • Several years of experience in the relevant sector of industry
  • Good interpersonal are required to activate, influence and persuade customers
  • In-depth knowledge of marketing strategies, developing business relationships with key customers and understanding of their supplier, customer, and end user relationship
  • Ability to conduct business with high degree of responsibility and independence
  • Good command of English and country relevant language
