Job description
Marketing plan: Develop promotion plan for products / product line, including:
Strategy and tactics, with promotion cycles, goals and objectives.
Market research / market analysis.
Competition activities / products.
Pricing recommendations.
Advertising materials. Sampling.
Coordinate implementation of promotion plans with Sales Supervisor / Manager.
Coordinate and liaison with area / International Marketing Manager / Director Global Strategies and all matters relating to the assigned product line and maintain appropriate file on these products.
Strategic plans: test marketing assumptions, assemble market data, provide sales forecasts, coordinate with material staff to ensure adequate product supply in the market; coordinate with R.A. Supervisor to ensure the registration process goes hand in hand with product launch plan and make it happen timely
Periodic reports: verification of marketing data; timely transmission and preparation of statements; analysis of market changes; timely preparation of monthly activity report.
Field visit to ensure that marketing plan is implemented properly and promoted message is communicated. Jointly with Sales Manager organize and participate in Sales Conference; organize, plan, supervise participate in Medical congresses, symposiums, seminars, workshop, eye camps.
Budget control - on going analysis and follow up of marketing budget as per guidelines of Profit Plan.
Competitive Strategy - responsible for implementation of CAFE competitive strategy in the branch.
New launching - totally responsible for new product introductions interacting with all related areas.
Regular review of sales results to determinate problem areas and recommended needed corrected actions (monthly / quarterly / actual versus plan result analysis).
Product complains: respond to product complains in a consultation with responsible home office experts.
Training: responsible for coordination of all training program for sales and marketing personnel on new and existing products according to previously established marketing plan.
Carry out special assignments as requested and / or approved by supervisor.
Cooperate with BUM/RA/KAM to list the company’s products in National Essential Drug List & key hospitals level. Work closely with Re-imbursement Officer to make advance for the company’s products to get reimbursement.
Cooperate with Distributors to create good promotional activities & expand products availability
General requirement
Education:
Minimum: University graduate in Business Administration of Marketing and/or in Medical/Pharmaceutical University. Excellent command of the English and Vietnamese language.
Preferred: MBA or post-graduation degree in Marketing, Economics or Medical related sciences.
Experience:
Minimum: Prior experience of being #2 in the Marketing Division of a larger Pharmaceuticals company for 4 – 5 years.
Preferred: International environment experience.Product Manager in an International Pharmaceutical company for 4 years.
