Product Research & Planning Manager (HCM)

Key activities
Customer - Internal
·         Provide expertise and advice based on marketing and business intelligence to ensure country marketing strategies are developed and implemented to achieve goals
·         Identify opportunities that significantly drive revenue and profit through marketing intelligence gathered from analytical reviews process
·         Manage the monthly reporting process and provide key product/business performance information to aid management in decision making
·         Develop and maintain the country AOP and RF file e.g. monthly Re-forecast responsibilities (as needed)
·         Achievement of tangible, numerical KPI targets for core programmes and initiatives. Monthly reporting and analysis of core programs and products. Implementation of standard business rules & achievement of implementation timelines
Internal Research and Planning

·         Project management of on-going research projects
·         Improve / enhance country reporting templates to meet changing business needs
·         Review research outputs for information relevance and accuracy
·         Provide country Marketing and Sales functions with research outputs for purposes of performance measurements and for decision-making
·         Present analytical presentations and recommendations to management and groups on
key projects.
·         Product Management
Direct the rollout of Products that support the future commercial strategy\
·         Develop product communication, pricing and implementation plan as needed (e.g. to launch new surcharges)
·         Ensure effective product training materials are produced and conducted
·         Product orientation of new staff
·         Product Code Activation & Key Systems Setup (e.g. DCT, CSV, Comet, GREF)
·         Coordinate and implement Billing and Operational Setup as well as eCom system changes
·         Maintain product systems and tools
Additional to Commercial Function
·         Leading revenue generating promotions
·         Ensure that all surcharges are correctly updated and reflected in the internal systems
External Research
·         In conjunction with AO/RO ensure fieldwork quality assurance
·         Confirm and distribute outputs and strategic insights
·         Ensure agency provides users with guidance on interpretation of results
·         Monitor and review progress of projects
·         Internal  Engage cross-functional representatives in country offices
·         Assist with relevant implementation of products via country commercial teams
·         Lead & assist with execution of Retail Plans for maximum revenue growth in this segment.
Process
·         Providing data analysis and analytical business cases to management regarding the direction of both strategic and tactical products/programs as required.
·         Implement core product programs within area countries delivering the required information and tactical plans to exceed core product targets Consolidate all analysis and product performance into regular reporting schedule for review by relevant functional and senior management
People – Management
·         Effectively manage the stakeholders and their expectations

Skills

Numeric literacy & analytical, presentation and project mgmt skills including
expertise in spreadsheet (Excel) and database (Access) programs
Experience of the cross-functional inter-relationships and impacts of all products
developed through exposure to country environment.
Understanding of the marketing mix and product life cycle concepts and ability to
Use market research into providing insightful and relevant analysis to management on product/program performance and positioning.
Experience at manipulating and modelling data
Simulation and forecasting competence is preferred

Expected years of experience
Experience in project management, planning, research and analysis, developing market intelligence.
At least 2 years within Express environment in a marketing or business analysis position
Educational Qualifications A Degree in Business/ Marketing/ Finance /Commerce/Accounting
Background in Finance, Audit, Banking, Research
Good analysis skill, logical thinking
Research & Reporting, presentation
Excellent excel skill
Good English
Age: 25 – 30
