POSITION DESCRIPTION
Department : Hospital Channel
Location : Ho Chi Minh Vietnam
Report To : Business Development Manager
The Assistant Business Development Manager develops key account management plans and co-ordinate in execution of key account management strategies at assigned hospitals, within the context of the overall corporate plan and, where appropriate, recommend standards and set sales targets and quotas. Establishes and maintains sales relationships with major accounts/customers.
• Achieve of effective listing and reimbursement performance objective at assigned Key Accounts with support from business managers and marketing team
• Timely submission of pricing & reimbursement dossiers to the competent authorities & strict follow-up to obtain their approval
• Monitor the pricing model at hospital level
• seek new opportunities in existing accounts as well as new potential accounts/sectors
• To be in charge of Key Decision Maker development plans and Key Accounts development/investments
Specific responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Closely monitor, partner with distributors in order to communicate to relevant parties of upcoming tenders with business alignment in a timely manner
• Double check tender list prepared by Business Development Executive of assigned key account before submitted
• Ensure completion of tender documents for signing off prior to the tender submission date
• Follow up to assure win tender and increase quota at assigned Key account
• Propose to Business Development Manager the Schedule and organize formal meetings with external and internal parties ( RA, Legal, Marketing, Sales…) involved to ensure relevant tender information is obtained and feedback is gathered and conveyed to Johnson & Johnson every 3 months in order to facilitate the implementation of the tender, with the Commercial Management Team within agreed timeframe
• Update information in business account databases made within agreed timeframes
• Coordinate with Sales/ Marketing/ GA to get Key Account, KOL support endorsement
• Discuss and utilize resources with business managers in order to identify any areas of improvement in distributor’s tender process ( Pre- Tender; Tender Execution Management; Post – Tender Management ; assessment Win- Loss, Quota Tender)
REQUIREMENTS
The position holder should possess:
• Degree in either Pharmaceutical Science or Medical Doctor
• At least 2-year experiences the similar position and 3-year experience in territory management. Marketing understanding is a plus
• Effective connection with Health Authorities at province and city level and Hospital KDMs
• Sound and adequate scientific knowledge and Vietnam tender management regulations;
• Verbal & Written English communication skills;
• Attention to detail; good communication and negotiation skill
