Description:
· Effectively supervise the monthly close including complete reconciliations and checks and submissions made on time
· Prepare reports to track measurements like product profitability / departmental profitability and effectiveness of campaigns
· Ensures all reports provided reflect transactions accurately and are in accordance with company standards and policies
· Highlights useful trends and irregularities to management with explanations and solution
· Liaise with auditors and tax consultants and implement recommendations as required.
· Produce reports and analyze data to monitor investment / resource allocation and manage actual financial performance versus targets set
· Management of the accounting function including accounting systems, cost control, cash flow, balance sheets etc.
· Ensure compliance with local SOPs, continuous assurance and letter of assurance requirement , and where required.

· Ensure maintenance and implementation of internal controls, with regular review to improve controls
· Ensure statutory requirements are complied with, and actions are taken to adopt new tax regulations
· Prepare tax returns with supporting analyses (reviewed by tax consultant)
· Compliance with local legislation and group requirements
· Maintain regular contact with bankers/legal counsel on latest updates on laws and provisions
· Collation of all inputs from various departments and perform consolidation.
· Highlights exceptions for discussion and decision making
· Adhere strictly to guidelines and time table
· Supervise team to complete all budget data template and analyses
· Establish and manage relationships with key stakeholders to maximize business effectiveness
· Agree with subordinates’ roles and objectives; direct and coach their job performance
· Develop and implement action plans to address team members with identified performance issues
· Identify, train and develop staff potential through motivation, coaching, and regular feedback
Requirement:
· University degree, with a recognized financial or accounting qualification.
· At least six years experiences in financial field including at least two years in a managerial position.
· Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office especially Excel and Sun system.
· Range of experience with financial and project management.
